Mikhail Arkhipov earned MSc degree in mechatronics and robotics in MIREA University, Moscow. After that he worked in MIREA on spectral approaches to scene reconstruction from plenoptic images and segmentation of biomedical images (capillaroscopy). In 2017 Mikhail joined Neural Networks and Deep Learning Lab at MIPT. His current research topics are named entities recognition and language modelling.

His research interests also include non-recurrent generative models for Natural Language Processing and discrete latent representations.
